Fun time at Eternal Summers/S/Lucy Dacus last night ....
Good show all around. Lucy Dacus is a Richmond act very similar to Waxahatchee.  I wasn't familiar with going into but was a very pleasant surprise, played several different styles and was all around great. I turned up buying their LP. (HOBO SHOWS ALERT FOR HUTCH: Feel bad for the band, they apparently are dead broke, was openly begging from stage for anyone to drive them to Charlotte so they could make their next show.)

I still regret not buying the pre-matador LP from her when she was at the merch table

Basically see bands that are too small to play IMP venues and that Hutch hasn't heard about and then be roundly mocked by him for it, despite him posting about equally obscure Spanish-speaking acts. Possibly be willing to be constantly accused of doing drugs despite repeatedly requests that people stop saying that. Eventually leave the board for your own sanity.

You know, the killsaly model.
