I just want to know what St John's Day is.
Its a Catholic feast day. You mostly hear about French-Canadians doing a big deal for it which makes me think someone signed into the Sidehatch account by mistake while trying to post as Sweetcell, but we will see.
Saint Jean Baptiste Day is the national holiday of the province of Quebec, a traditional excuse to fire up the bbq and fill the cooler with too much cheap beer. the parents of my french-canadian friend would hand us a six-pack as we headed out the door to the local celebrations, despite us being underage... it was the yearly hall-pass.
