Raffi please!!! he has a new album coming out.....

I think he'd be a great Lincoln Theatre show.. of course a club show would be ideal...

I am serious.

aww hells yeah.  i'd be taking my kiddos to that so fast.  instant dad-of-the-year show right there (or at least dad-of-the-hour, which i'll happily take)

Seth, thanks for Peaches...she always puts on a fun show, even though we pay for it the next day. Somehow she's always here on school nights ;)

Seth,

Peter Hook is announcing a tour of New Order's "Substance" LP, one of the greatest compilations of all time. This would be an amazing tour. Any chance you could get him to come to DC? Thank you!

thanks for Feelies!  ;D ;D ;D

I'm down for any New Order stuff... valet, drug dealer, chef, the Other Two, Monaco (oh wait, not Monaco), Revenge, The Ian Curtis Revival Experience (awesome Joy Division cover band out of Brighton..they even start their shows by blaring Iggy's the Idiot out of the PA.. )

Stone Roses just announced shows for next summer overseas, are they casting a net to play any shows on this side of the pond?

That would make a nice Merriweather show...they need to bring Inspiral Carpets and Lush with them. Heck, Ride could come back along too. At this point though you'd probably need Arctic Monkeys to headline it to make it monetarily worthwhile for all those bands.

I know it'd be pretty last minute, but it would be awesome if you could get Flipper W/ Dave Yow while they are doing these East Coast shows.

john Carpenter is gearing up to perform his film music for ATP Iceland in July. Would be amazing if you could bring that show to DC.

I assumed he meant Clemson and was confused what connection you had to Clemson.
