I think the Amy Winehouse CD is really good. I think there still are tickets available for her Philly show.
Thanks,
Brian

Booka Shade are coming back to the states in may; their NYC and Chicago shows this time around have gotten nothing but great reviews. How about getting them this upcoming time around?

How about the Chemical Brothers? They're in the process of finalizing US dates. A show at the 9:30 would be divine (thank GOD they can't go to Nation anymore). God forbid they play at DAR.

Seth, you're a God for who you've booked for Vfest. Will SP and Police play full sets?

For the love of God SONIC YOUTH.
I was contemplating a road trip to Chicago but you could save me the gas money.

Seth, for your Vfest consideration:
Daft Punk, Interpol, Jesus and Mary Chain, Hold Steady, Modest Mouse, Bloc Party, The Arcade Fire

Thanks for bringing such a great festival to the Baltimore/Washington area! Vfest looks great already, I surely will be there! I would second Modest Mouse and Daft Punk and add in Girl Talk since he seems to be doing the festival circuit, especially if you plan on having the techno/club tent again. Im sure it conflicts with a noise ordinance, but would it be possible to run the club tent past the end of the headliner? I think that would be a fun place to go after the other performances end.

And how about more minimal techno/electro/techhouse and downtempo and less trance in said dance tent? Hell...Just bring everyone associated with the Kompakt, Get Physical and Ed Banger labels across the ocean.
I know acts like tiesto and oakenfold would bring more patronage but they're just so...uhh...bad.

i second the request for a less thumpy dance tent... The endless boom boom booms leaking from it seemed to follow me everywhere and lessen to some extent the vibe by the second stage which by the way was the best part of last years festival.

Christ, a line-up of Ed Banger's roster would be amazing.

Yes, yes it would. If Miami gets an Ed Banger showcase this week, I don't see why we can't get one in august. I'm seeing Justice at coachella but that's just not enough.
