Azaghal, I think you are thinking of a different band. Or maybe I'm the one who is confussed. I may be wrong but I don't think The Electric Soft Parade have been the way before. Are you thinking of that Doors cover band? This isn't them.

Hey Seth,

I just heard I have to surrender my ticket (for a wristband) to come back for the second day. I know I'm being a crybaby, BUT I have all my tix dating back to Johnny Cash in 1970! I wanna keep my ticket. Is this true?

You've been bitchin for months about Amy Winehouse, she's finally coming within walking distance and you're already moaning about a repeat visit?  Are you being held in a "rehabilitation" facility, house arrest, are your movements otherwise limited?  While for the most part I also like the artists you champion, the whining makes the fanbase look scarier than it actually is.  I want to help you out, if you don't have an ankle bracelet and can actually leave a 40 mile radius I'm willing to foot the bill to the concert of your choice (philly, new york, boston, richmond, charlotte, etc) in this timezone as long you promise NOT to ask for the same artist to come to DC more than ONCE every six months, and no female artist or lead vocalist in a band every nine months.  This is no-shit offer, it just pains me to see all this repetitiveness in your posts.  I can see you're crying out for help.

They had these beautiful commerative tickets for Winter Music Conference this year, and at the gate I thought they'd just pull off the tab of the ticket which was made just for that purpose to keep the pristine ticket intact, but there were two sadistic freaks at the gate just ripping the entire ticket in half and waving people in, I too have been collecting tickets for quite awhile and I was shitting my pants to see these particularly attractive tickets being destroyed, so I balked and they weren't going to let me in so I sulked on the side until someone with a brain showed up and asked what the problem was and the knumbskulls at the gate were reprimanded for not following the directions they were initially given about ripping off the stubs only.  Moral of the story?  Acting like a baby can work in isolated circumstances for things that really don't have any relevance. I kept my souvenir in that instance and I'm sure VF organizers will do the right thing here.  There are so many options, like taking a marker to the back of the ticket so it can't be reused but otherwise kept intact, etc.

I think you're right. Seth will take care of the crybabies. Once that ticket is scannned the first day, it is essentially worthless. I hope they just deface the back or tear it. However ya never know what meathead (with no tolerance for crybabies) will be working the gate. PLEASE SETH TAKE CARE OF THE COLLECTORS!

This isn't about my liking, but rather yours.  If you think I'm bullshiting pick a show/venue of your choice out of the DC area & PM me the details and I'll cover it under the conditions that I outlined earlier.  But heaven help you if you don't abide by those conditions after your trip, this board will be merciless and you'll have to hide under Lily Allen's summer dress for her remaining 5 minutes of fame to escape the barage. I don't care if it's a Liza Minelli, Avril Lavigne, Ashley Simpson tri-headlining tour if you want to go it's on me, just remember the rules.

Hey Seth
I purchased tickets to the Ben Gibbard show and I am unable to attend due to the second show being added and bumping up the ticket time.  Can I get a refund since the time had changed on the tickets, and I was planning on getting off at 7 pm and now I will miss one of my favorite artists and possibly some of the Gibbard performance.
Please let me know what to do. I contacted the 9:30 Club and Tickets.com, and no body has an answer for me. PS.  I was never contacted about the show changing times, I was browsing the site in hopes of finding out the possible set times for the show.

bully, i once asked you about your age and you replied that you "were old enough to drink".  at the time i assumed you meant you were 21.  i'm now starting to think that you actually meant "i've decided i'm old enough to drink", or "i can now hold my liquor like a big person"... because your writing style, non-sensical diva obsession, insults and "come-backs" (term used loosely) have convinced me you're definitely younger than 21.  either that, or my confidence in the education system has sunk even further.

Yeh, I remembered that which was why I offered to pay for a trip.  But if he/she is a minor I rescind that offer, I don't need a pedophile rap over my head, or aid and abetting a runaway.  I was convinced it was just a persona but the amount of evidence that this is a real person, who is REALLY like this is overwhelming.  I basically read this board to get the jump on upcoming shows, and to take the piss out of someone every now and then.  What this person gets I have no clue, there has to be a ton of websites/message boards that cater to his/her particular proclivities and would relish to swap syrupy banter about the latest diva-tte coming out of the UK.  Bull break it down for the clueless here, what gives?  Identity crisis, are you coming to terms with your changing body? With the exception of Dupek we're pretty open minded and liberal and can handle the truth.  We just want to help you, help us.
