Yes, DCFC songs but also All-Time Quarterback. Obviously, he played more of DCFC.

He played nothing off the All-Time Quarterback CD at either concert.

Gibbard played two shows in the same night, and sold out both.

Those people were paying to see Ben do DCFC songs though right? Not songs from some side project with a washed up alt-country singer.

Jay Farrar is far from a "washed up alt-country singer". His Son Volt show at the club on Tues did quite nicely and he's got a great band together. The man can write a song, whether you appreciate his style or not.

Seth, Bernard Sumner of New Order has a new band and they are touring the US around Nov/Dec. Any chance we can see these dudes at 930 club?

Dear Mr. Hurwitz,

Will you please put Jesus Lizard tickets onsale soon?  I will feel much better when I can actually hold my ticket in my hands and cuddle with it at night.

Thanks!

Probably not Seth, but I hope someone books Drivin' & Cryin' for their new tour. Iota? State?

hey seth,

any chance you counl not sell/release 1200 tickets to the new year's eve show with sharon jones?  i suspect i'm making an impossible/impractical request, but personally i wouldn't mind spending my NYE not packed shoulder-to-shoulder... the ability to easily navigate from my spot to the bar and back would be nice.  i'm not saying sell only 100 tickets, but something less than over-stuffed would be a big plus.  i suspect tickets are going to be expensive as compared to her last 930 show and i'm fine with that, i'm just hoping that in return for that 100% mark-up (or whatever the exact number it), we could have 10-20% less people in the club.
