great news!

another thing TF added recently, for MPP shows, is the ability to pick seats from a seat map.  i really like that feature - the system's definition of "best available" isn't always mine.

Yes! More and more venues have been adding this feature over the last year or two. It's so much better than getting stuck with random seats.

However, every time I've used a feature like this it's for a show that doesn't sell out fast. How does this system work for a show that is a sure quick sell-out? People won't be able to pick their own seats. I'm assuming then it's just like the current system.

Hey Guys-

The seat-picking feature depends on the event and is at the discretion of MPP. For high demand shows it is typically not an option to choose your owns seats at the start of a sale. Just FYI!

But it's great feedback that you guys prefer this feature. I'll pass it along.

OMG, I second this, and will add $50 more. But I doubt they'd do well at 9:30. Especially since they haven't come round these parts in 5 years. No one knows who they are anymore.
