Strong seconding of the London Suede (Suede)! Such an amazing live act.

Also, Big Audio Dynamite would be pretty darn sweet.

I don't know how it may be possible, but if there's a will...can you please book The Decemberists, please?
That would be very nice... Maybe a two date stand?  They are definitely cool to see at a place like MPP, but the time I saw them at Sonar in 05 is definitely the most memorable.
Okay, MPP would be grand for IMP/Seth and all of you folks, but being the selfish person I am I prefer 930 please & thanks. (oh and Sara Watkins is performing with them this spring...if you can't get them until after this round of dates, understood...but well...would be a good show for Justin Jones too...didn't he play same night as Sara a year ago?) For some reason there is a blank date on their tour page after the NYC dates...hoping to fill it in w/ DC - 930!

Oh, and I fourth Old 97's (since Rhett & I asked twice, one of my requests, which he scoffed at, ahem;)) It's been too long - thanks!

AZ - what'd I miss?

Dear Mr. Hurwitz,

Any chance of coaxing miss Polly Jean Harvey to come down for a DC show after her date in NYC on 4/20?

Also, please see the pleas in the "Just Announced" thread to grab Explosions in the Sky and the Flaming Lips, who both have dates in Richmond.

Thanks.

Polly Jean's last show was like 7 years ago, right? I think we're overdue. While you're at it, see if you can throw Queens of the Stone Age on the bill and do a Desert Sessions revisited gig. That would be friggin' unreal.

Yep, 7 years, if you don't count the PJ/John Parish shows.  :o

Yeah PJ Harvey's last at 9:30 Club was 2004. Awesome show.

Those Parrish/PJ shows are not the same thing as a straight up rocking PJ Harvey show. Don't let them turn you away if she comes through town on her own.

Yeah I don't give people second chances when they're requiring money. Sometimes I'll make a mistake but generally one chance.

I have to say PJ Harvey is doing only three dates and I find these three date tours beyond lame.. have some balls and go play Tuscaloosa or Topeka... Always the same, Frisco, NYC and a festival...Its like she doesn't want to play.
