Hey Seth how about getting Kyuss Lives! w/ The Sword.

They're playing Terminal 5 on September 23rd, don't make me go all the way to NYC! 9:30 needs some riffage!

dear 930,

a request for tomorrow's shpongle show: please do not push the stage forward as much as you would for a rock show.  i suspect that this one won't be sold out but there is no need to make the show "feel intimate".  please give us (extra) space to dance.  being shoulder-to-shoulder isn't a plus in this case.

thank you!

Hey Seth, here's an idea for V-Fest (if not September at the Club)

From Wilco:In order to focus on finishing the record and get some quality time at home, the band are doing only a handful of gigs before September.

Omar Souleyman is in Philadelphia on 7/10. His being added to the AC Merriweather show might sell me and possibly a few others on pavilian tickets.

Hey Seth,

When are you going to get on the groupon bandwagon?

Groupon and LiveNation, the parent company of Ticketmaster, have teamed up to offer customers deals on concerts and other live events. The companies have launched a new joint initiative, Groupon Live, that will be a localized platform for LiveNation events.

The partnership, slated to launch this summer, will give customers deals for concerts, sporting events, theater and arts events, a joint release from the companies said.

?GrouponLive represents a new channel to drive value for fans, while helping artists and others to reach ever larger audiences,? said Live Nation Entertainment President and chief executive Michael Rapino in a statement. ?By adding this channel to our ticketing platform, we will also provide our venue partners with another option for driving ticket sales across a wide range of events.?

The deal also expands what Groupon offers ? the service normally recommends restaurant, event and business deals, but doesn?t often offer coupons for live events.

The daily deals site is also expected to launch its real-time coupon service, Groupon Now, in the coming weeks. The mobile service will let customers look for nearby, ongoing deals by opting to share their location with the site.

Do you like where Groupon is going? What other deals would you like to see it offer?
