I told ya about Andres Calamaro.. he'd do very well in DC and it would be nice to see some attention paid to the Latin Rock market by IMP..... first dates in the US have been anounced including Irving Plaza.. seems like a few Live Nation promoted dates in October..

On another British songstress note: a show by Florence + the Machine, either at the Club or DAR, in the near future would be great.  Doing shows all over the place this summer--Boston, New York, Orlando, St. Louis--but no D.C.

I still regret having to miss seeing her open for the Temper Trap at the Club early last year.

the rapture have a new album coming out on september 6, called "In The Grace Of Your Love".  they're playing NYC on august 20.  any chance we could get them back at the club?  or freefest?  their last show at the 930 was amazing.
