Thanks as always for Weller, it was an ace show.  I follow individual on Twitter his band mates and they were all singing the praises of the club.

Speaking of which his keyboard player has his own stellar band called the Moons.  They are trying to tour the US, U Street maybe?

Just a random note to Seth that might make him smile.

Recently saw two stellar shows at the Fillmore (I know BOO!)....(also both of these should have been at the 9:30!!)

The specials...in the middle of the set Terry is speaking to the crowd and commented on the giant TV's behind the bar "what with these TV's saying : Let's be more than Friends" (Live nation's obvious dig at the FWB program).  And he was like "that makes me feel a little uncomfortable, not sure I want to be more than Friends with a TV"

Frank Turner -  in the middle of Wessex Boy (I think) there is a line about your hometown club and he name dropped the 930 club (and not the Fillmore )

Placebo! They are touring Europe in support of their upcoming LP.  They never had a make up date for the last 930 show that was cancelled due to illness...

the craziest thing about turner was they only had bud light and it cost $7... i will never complain about beer selection anywhere again!

yes, the free tix were very nice...so thanks, but I would have gladly paid for both shows as they were both great.
