QOTSA QOTSA QOTSA....

Please NOT Rams Head Live.  Ugh.

+100

I recall (what I think was) their last show at the club.  Someone who apparently has an ongoing issue Josh Homme threw a rather large object at him while he was mid song.  Josh missed not a beat at the same time let the guy know in know uncertain terms he did not appreciate the episode.  Epic concert moment.

I remember that incident too. It was during "Go With The Flow" I believe. Josh had daggers coming out of his eyes after that that one!

Yes to QOTSA please!
I remember him telling the guy that he could go ahead and sue him and that he could buy him a whole new wardrobe.

I met the whole band after the show and asked Josh about that and he said something along the lines of some random asshole just wanting to be noticed. So cool. He was out there with us for like 20 minutes in the rain while we waited for our ride. I was like 17 or 18... I still have that signed poster hanging on my wall!

I was standing right in front of Josh during that. That was a pretty great episode. I have a recording of it. Best rant: "I know Nick is gone, but I'll still f you in the ass. You think I haven't been sued for kicking motherfers asses like yours before? Find the f out."

Ya, it's way cooler when people in the crowd throw shit at the band and the band just takes it. Fuck yeah!

Pretty sure security also escorted the guy out.

But maybe not all general admission this time ala movie theater style.  I got some pretty crappy seats that night.  What time did everyone get to that show anyway?  But it does look like a west coast tour.

I haven't been paying attention, but is the Lincoln assigned seats now or is every show GA?

I think that was the exception, the other shows I've seen there are assigned.  Maybe it was a Tweedy thing.

i think its all assigned

i like the GA concept every once in a while.....but , yeah, every once in a while...although if i was a musician i'd use it a lot.. if i had to play a seated show which i would hate to do....

this is not a music request.  but a thank you, since last night was probably my last 930 show for the indefinite future (although i'm still thinking about lettuce next week!).  i'm moving to seattle next weekend.

i hope to find a place in seattle that has as good of sound, friendly staff, good beer, and fantastic acts. you've set the bar high.

i am gay and i like cats

wasnt the presence of the dead milkmen at u street, during that one last show, where they rocked and the place was blowing the roof off the moments of just being there . . . make you want to contact the band and say hey, theres this freak who keeps begging for you; wanna play the club some time.  thank you, sir.
