yeah i thought about that too...really..but I think Forever Young may have taken a while to percolate up in America..remember Alphaville was new back then, and from Germany.. it took a while for that to become a big song..I went to high school in California between september 85 or so and march 87 and i remember forever young was huge back then.. this was all pre-internet...etc.

Rob Zombie at the Anthem around Halloween would be fun.  I see he is touring around then, but no D.C./MD date.

Good thing they have a D.C. date in September.

By popular demand (below) I have relocated my question.

That thread seems to be more about tickets than the venue but no worries either way.

Hey there, Seth!

Just bought seats to QOTSA. They're way up on the 3rd deck. Sounds scary.  How good/bad will the sound and sight lines be?

Can't wait to check the new venue out.

Spiritualized are booking some West Coast shows. Any chance you could get J. Spaceman to do a DC stopover?

hey seth,

excuse my ignorance on this question . . . but is ticketfly owned or associated with Ticketmaster / LiveNation?

I just received an email from Ticketmaster, thanking me for my purchase to the LCD Soundsystem show, which I purchased through ticketfly, and that I will be receiving a free copy of their new album, if I "just click here" and give my address and phone number and Name.

Is this a scam email?  Doesn't this site already have my name and address and phone number, since I ordered tickets from them and they are sending my tickets to my address and name?

Edit . . . Just Googled it, Ticketmaster does now own Ticketfly.
