anyways, Seth the set times being posted on the site the day of show is HUGE..


please get that back up somewhere.... yes one can estimate but one never feels too comfortable about estimating..and when i called the 930 about the set times a few days ago they didn't know...for people with kids, work,  etc it can make a big difference to being able to make a show on time without extra stress and freaking out....

Speaking for myself, my work schedule is such that sometimes I don't get to leave until about 9pm. If a show starts at 9:30, I can figure out if I can make it to the club in time...sometimes, I'll be able to time it so that I can leave work, change out of my suit, then get there just in time to see the headliner take the stage. The set times have become so helpful and ultimately can make me decide whether or not I attend a show. It's pretty disappointing when you think you can see a show, then realizing the band went on 30 minutes earlier than you anticipated and you miss the bulk of the concert. Even though you can try to guess the set times, it's very much a crapshoot until the day of.

it is important to my day of show logistics.
 sometimes i want to arrive for the opener.
 sometimes for the headliner only.
 sometimes want to catch dinner beforehand.

I'm literally stunned someone who runs multiple music venues cannot figure out why it might be helpful to know what time a band is going on stage. That response belies a person who is either being willfully obtuse or has an almost walrus-esque inability to grasp the construct of time and how it impacts the lives of humans.

Tell me how the set times helps you exactly

I live in Reston, have a 5 year old. If I can make a show at the club, it will usually mean driving in on the later side. I'll still probably hit traffic, and I need to know if it's worth my time to maybe see half of the headliner's set.
