The 2nd Annual Baltimore Music Conference is a one day showcase of new music, networking, keynote addresses and panels. The event attracts more than 4,000 music professionals, artists and music lovers. This years BMC is planned to be held Sept 23rd, 2006 in Druid Hill Park.
This year's BMC will feature over 200 bands & DJs performing on over 10 stages. Last year's performers included Terry Mullan and members of Wu-Tang Clan as well as many bands and DJs predominently from the Baltimore/DC metro area.
Submissions in all genres for showcase consideration will be accepted through June 30, 2006. Performers can visit

BMC panels will cover the state of the music business with scheduled topics including radio promotion, retail, artist management, technology, webcasting, Internet sales and distribution, college radio, independent labels, film soundtracks and more. Selected artists will receive all access badges, which will grant them admission to all that the conference has to offer including all of our showcases and panels.
Being situated between Philly & DC and more widely between NY & Fl, Baltimore is the perfect place to draw the entire east coast together for the largest, all music, all genres, all encompassing, & all exciting outdoor music festival and conference.

The Baltimore Music Conference announced today that their organization will be hosting the DMC American Battleground 2006 Eliminations here in Baltimore on Friday August 4th. The picturesque 3rd floor of Gardelâ??s Supper Club will be taken over from 7pm until 10pm by upcoming and enthusiastic young DJs, each trying to make a name for themself by out spinning and out scratching their competition to win a chance at competing in the USA championships.
The first place winner of each American Battleground Elimination will compete at the 2006 DMC USA FINALS in Chicago IL. The first place winner of the 2006 USA Final will represent the United States at the 2006 DMC DJ Championship WORLD FINAL in London.
The Baltimore Music Conference which serves and supports all members of the music community are proud to have been asked to host this coveted event as one of the many events and fundraisers leading up to the actual conference in the Fall.
Following the competition, the party then moves downstairs to the 2nd floor for an over 21 event with performers to be announced.
