My apologies....btw,  as amazing as last night was, it's still not the greatest comeback in Champions League history. That accolade was won in 1999. No extra time, no penalties, just a great comeback to win it outright fair and square

i heard on the tony kornheiser show this morning that ESPN was going to replay this as an "instant classic" tonight at 8pm, but I don't see it on either their ESPN1 or ESPN classic schedules ...

This thread is gayer than JM J Bullock chasing a bunch of ducks through the dinnerware department at Macy's, with Bee Gees muzak playing.

It's not on the schedule because it is an "Instant Classic" and therefore couldn't be scheduled in advance.  They replayed it last night and will do so agian today.  It was on ESPN Classic last night.
 
 And while we're giving out accolades, Barca, congrats to your squad as well.  That too was a long time coming.

Had Liverpool scored the winner in regulation, it would rival the '99 game, but you're right, with yesterday's extra time and penalties (which are crap), the '99 game is still the greatest comeback in Champions League history.

 One of the most thrilling things in sport is when the underdogs rise up and slay the giants.  Yeah, Liverpool isn't up there with the cream of the Premiership, but neither is their payroll.  Don't worry boys, Papa Glazer will do his best to buy you some trophies too!  
 
 Whether you like it or not, Liverpool are the Champions.  They beat some great teams to get where they are today.  Stop your sour grapes and let them enjoy their moment in the sun.  
 
 Liverpool has won the Champions Cup five times, that's the same amount as all the other English clubs, combined!
