people smoke in those shows anyway, last week at the black crowes EVERYONE was freakin smoking, and not just cigarettes! [/b]
Sonick: Must have been in the b-room cause smokin' is banned in all NYC venues: bars, restaurants, hotels...etc.  I was SO digging on fresh air last week:  I can handle drunks, brutish behavior, but burned clothing and harmed lungs are almost NOT worth the music...BTW:  I am totally curious:  What DO you stand for WalkOnBy; I've supported you, and been attacked by you; and then taken an opposing pov and you've agreed...you're a hard person to figure.  Can you enlighten us? [/b]
i think i have multipurpose personalities. nineteen, ninety-nine and a free set of pancake tongs.  what do i stand for?  i stand for everything's twin, and nothing's a sin.  but sometimes i forget what i say.  i beleive in happy days; i beleive in joannie loves crotchie; i beleive in swordfish.  and i love mickey's big mouth, too!!  good lord in heaven, that was the first beer i drank.  it was two dollars and so for a sixer, and boy did it mess up your mind.  i also stand for this place, which has offered me so much entertainment over the months and opened my ears to bands i would of never heard of, and of cource having people call you a complete loser and totally ignore what you have to say.

everything you wrote here tells me you are crazy, except the part about Holland/Germany making good beers, although I might limit that to Germany

and I don't think Sierra is *trendy* I've been drinking it for almost ten years...nor should one NOT like something because it is "bourgeios"...if that were the case I couldn't eat sushi because hillbilly's say it's "yuppie food"

I guess I will have to change my screen name to bourgeoise Barcelona because I am not going to stop drinking Sierra. The taste is excellent and  I don't care what people at shows might think about me for drinking this beer. As for holland and germany, i think you missed Belgium, the best beers I have ever drunk are from there.

Favorite beer - Negra Modelo. Old Speckled Hen is another fave of mine. I love beer. I love different beers. I love trying new beers. However, there is no beer I hate more than Rolling Rock. It tastes like shit.

I have to admit...I've never tried a lambic. I've been meaning to and never know which one to get.

Rogue Shakespeare Stout is another favorite. Especially on tap at Lost Dog.

I'm limited by a lot of beers that I know use isinglas or gelatin as filtering agents in the process.  However, I'm a bit partial to Samuel Smith's Oatmeal Stout.
