I was telling my son that the Bible doesn’t mention heaven or hell. Am I wrong?

I was telling my son that the Bible doesn’t mention heaven or hell. Am I wrong?
me being the bible scholar...
my understanding is that heaven is in there but hell was made up in the middle ages

Google gave me this:
It is not true.

'Heaven' is mentioned 691 times in the Bible (KJV), while 'hell' is mentioned 54 times and 'hell fire' 3 times.

The truth is that heaven is described in the Bible as a dwelling place of God and the angelic beings that worship Him (Nehemiah 9:6; Matthew 18:10; 28:2; Mark 13:31; Luke 2:15). The Lord Jesus Christ came from heaven (John 3:31; 6:38), returned to heaven after His death and resurrection (Acts 1:11; Ephesians 1:20), and will come from heaven one day to deliver His people and judge those who did not believe His gospel (1 Thessalonians 4:16-17; 2 Thessalonians 1:7-9).

Heaven is characterized with joy (Luke 15:7, 10), rest (Revelation 14:13), peace (Luke 16:25), righteousness (2 Peter 3:13), service (Revelation 7:15), reward (Matthew 5:11-12), inheritance (1 Peter 1:4), and glory (Romans 8:17-18).

On the hand, hell is the place of eternal torments prepared for the devil and the fallen angels (Matthew 25:41; 2 Peter 2:4), rejectors of the Gospel (Matthew 10:15), disobedient (Romans 2:8-9), wicked (Revelation 21:8), beast and the false prophet (Revelation 19:20) as well as worshippers of the beast (Revelation 14:11).

Hell is described as similar to eternal burning (Matthew 13:42; 18:8-9; Revelation 20:10), eternal darkness (Matthew 8:12; 22:13; 2 Peter 2:4, 17), eternal destruction (Matthew 7:13; Philippians 1:28; 2 Peter 3:7, 10) and eternal separation from God and His blessings (2 Thessalonians 1:9). It is symbolically pictured in Revelation 10:20 and 20:10 as a lake of fire.

The Lord Jesus, while ministrying here on earth, painted a graphic picture of heaven and hell in the story of the rich man and Lazarus (Luke 16:19-31). So no one has any reason to doubt the reality of heaven and hell.

i've heard people say this before, and unfortunately it's wrong.  "heaven" is all over the place.  the word "hell" is only used in the new testament, per the online bible i just consulted.  in the old testament they used phrases like "the grave", "the pit", or "death" to mean a place of eternal damnation - but never the word "hell".

correct, but every culture touched by one of the Big Three monotheistic religions has a direct translation for the word "hell".  so while the original hebrew, aramaic, greek, etc. texts would not have H + E + L + L they would have used their direct equivalent (or in the case of the old testament, not).

I pondered whether this so go here or random randomness, because not sure if this can be define as food..

A massive Cheez-It, which is 16 times the standard size, serves as the base for Taco Bell's new "Big Cheez-It Tostada

New York (CNN Business)Taco Bell is testing a new menu item with a beloved snack food. The fast-food chain hopes the creation can replicate the success of its Doritos shells.
