got 2 as well, 8 minutes in and not sold out, so maybe Much Ado About Nothing, of course this dashes my dreams of being asked to go on tour with them as their DJ 

why?  because you'll only tour with bands that can sell out a venue in less than 8 minutes?

It was really easy to get tickets to this show.

The Eddie Vedder solo shows, on the other hand, drove me crazy for 30 minutes until I could get a pair of balcony seats!

By the way, the venue they are playing in Denver holds 400, and the one in Minneapolis a 250-500 range.

It appears that LA and NYC are outliers.

That could mean nothing. As we've seen, the promoters from the hotel don't have a problem acting as division II street-teamers when it comes to pushing their own shows.

no because they are playing at RNRH and not the 9:30 club, seeing as I don't DJ at RNRH they wouldn't be able to bask in my awesomeness there, now were it at the club they could at least get the chance to.

one of my worries is that this show could have easily been targeted by those who resell tickets, thus making it harder for the fans to snare them when they first went on sale.

By the way - Terminal 5 is NOT a live nation venue. its owned by bowery presents who does their booking through ticketmaster.

but seriously complaining about a small venue. I saw them before at 9:30 club and it was awesome and they had other great bands with them - Longview and Dogs Die In Hot Cars. I would be totally excited if they were playing anywhere smaller than Terminal 5.

Also - this tour had maybe 2 weeks of dates for them to play the States. They are playing in france days after the LA show and have a bunch of dates right before they get to the States. It seems this is just a small tour and theyll be back again later to do a full US tour.

thats what i thought too. made sure i got 2 tickets even though my wife is up in the air about going figuring i wouldnt have an issue getting face back if needed
