entire Einstürzende Neubauten North American tour cancelled....FUCK, i had tickets for NYC...so bummed about this!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It is with great regret that Einstürzende Neubauten announce the cancellation of their planned thirtieth anniversary appearances in Los Angeles, San Francisco, Chicago, Toronto and New York. While the US Department of Homeland Security did issue approvals for the band's visas, it was not done in time to secure the appointments at the overseas embassies and consulates that represent the necessary final step in the process.

The band members are tremendously disappointed by this turn of events and wish to thank all those fans who purchased tickets for these performances for their support. The band would have loved to do the tour and meet their overseas fans. Because this tour was a time-sensitive production, it will not be rescheduled. Ticketholders can obtain refunds from their point of purchase.

"We are delighted to announce that David Tibet, Michael Cashmore and Current 93 will be performing the entirety of their Hallucinatory Playtime Dream Cycle,
THUNDER PERFECT MIND, in (almost definitely) London whilst simultaneously launching David Tibet?s long-awaited lyric book, SING OMEGA (previously titled
Under the Rain and Teeth of Gods). Due to the nature of their rehearsals, and the availability of our chosen venue, this concert is likely to take place
in July 2011?meaning a brief postponement from the previously-mentioned March publication date?but it is very important to Michael and David to bind together
these two events and make each of them into as Hallucinatory a Playtime Dream as possible. It is likely C93 will be performing two nights. More details
very soon."

You gotta love how nothing is ever carved in stone with David Tibet until it is happening.

The Black Angels have just been added to this year's Bonnaroo.

-Edit-
Below is the link for the site with a nice lineup already posted. Looking rather Indiriffic and would probably appeal to most on this board.

Not sure if this has been posted yet or not. If so, sorry about that. Don't know yet exactly where it will be held but I'm suspecting Minehead.

"Jeff Mangum of Neutral Milk Hotel to curate ATP in the UK this December 2nd-4th - Superchunk, The Olivia Tremor Control, Young Marble Giants, The Magic Band, The Raincoats performing The Raincoats (debut LP), A Hawk And A Hacksaw, Tinariwen, The Apples in stereo confirmed so far. On sale Friday. Full info up on site very soon!"

-Edit-
Here's their website for more details than worth noting here now. And yes, it is in Minehead.
