Has anyone been to Dirt Farm Brewing, in Bluemont?  I have, a gift card and have never been.  I have gone to the winery right up the road, which had killer views and decent wine, to boot.

I've been... Was on our way to Vanish one weekend until we saw about 10,000 people there so just kept going a bit down the road.... Beer is mediocre at best, but a nice place to hang out.

Lol.  And not shocked to hear about number of people there.  I plan on going, during a day when hopefully most Valley snob beer heads, will be at work.

My sentence was confusing.

10k people were at vanish, we said fuck that,  and drove to Dirt Brewing where about 13 people were.

Beer prices up and up

interesting - what are you seeing in terms of beer prices?

for me, beer prices have been relatively stable compared to a lot of other grocery items.  prices of meat and cheese have gone way up.  just this morning i bought some distilled water that used to cost $3.29 but price recently jumped to $4.99 (52% increase!).  i buy only craft beer from regional breweries (Georgetown, Fremont, etc.) so maybe they're more sensitive about raising prices?

(also, when is rustyorgan showing up to blame biden for beer prices?)

beer prices have been relatively stable
well since the avg beer at a bar went from $4 to $9 in the last ten years, they were already high

When I used to frequent bars... daily... from like 2002 to 2010, I don't recall a $4 beer in DC unless it was a dive and a pbR.

I am going to Richmond for a few days, for work.  I may, if I am lucky, get to go to 1 brewery.  Which should it be?

I love sours, ipas of all kinds (still looking for another great black ipa) wilde ales and red lagers. Sometimes brown ales, but they better be excellent.

Thanks.
