And if I were limited to only two picks for the entire DC area, I sure wouldn't have used one of them in Bier Baron.Brouwers Cafe is without a doubt the best beer bar in Seattle and it was left off the list as well.Quote from: Mobius on January 25, 2012, 01:46:59 pmQuote from: Shemp on January 18, 2012, 05:39:06 pmAmerica's 100 Best Beer Bars Huge oversight not to include the Pony Bar in Hell's Kitchen NYC (45th and 10th)

Hopslam $26 at Whole Foods in DC. Hopslam $20 at Whole Foods in the burbs.
That is crazy. That beer is not worth that price at all! It is good though, but not that good. Finally had Founders Breakfast Stout over the weekend. Tasty.
wasn't canadian breakfast stout selling for $18-20 for a 750 ml bottle, i.e. the equivalent of two regular 12 oz bottles? that makes hopslam a bargain: you're getting 3 times as much for about the same price! if anyone hears about it on tap anywhere, please let us know. might be the only way i'll end up trying this.
