Brewers Art is definite stop if you haven't been there before.  They have great beer.  And if you are there you might as well go around the corner to the OWL Bar.  Great history to that place.  They don't make their own beer but they have a nice beer list with Union Craft  beer on the menu.

I just remembered Brewers Art doesn't open until 4PM.  There is also Max's on Broadway in fells point they carry about 100 beers on tap I believe.  And Pratt Street Ale House which is downtown.

Wharf Rat in Fells is also fun.  They sell mostly Oliver Beers, but I like them.

Got to drink two 9oz pours of KBS at Fairfax Whole Foods yesterday. $5 per pour, in a plastic cup.
The keg kicked in 36 minutes.

I'll bet the vast majority of Max's patrons don't know what a berliner weisse is.

they do seem to have a seriously ambitious draft list that doesn't quite match the clientele.

Stone Enjoy By 5.17.13 is coming to VA.

Given that that date is our 10th anniversary, that bottle will definitely be added to my bottle collection.

Will never happen. When most of your sales are people driving to your brewery and purchasing multiple cases at a time (and the rest is to ship it locally within 30 miles), why would you spend the money to ship it  far away?

I gotta say I'm pretty disappointed with those bottles. I had the 4/1/13 a few weeks ago and it was mediocre at best.

Head to DC Brau during the next canning of Wings, definitely the closest beer in a few hundred mile radius that has similarities to Heady.

Pratt Street Ale House I guess is Oliver's brew house?  I am not sure but they have twenty versions of Oliver beer on draft.  Good place to stop after a game.
