That’s progress!

Both times, I went home and crashed and slept for about 10 hours.

yet another Thursday night drop by Other Half at DTC:

-'DDH Double Mosaic Dream' Imperial IPA (8.5% ABV) "Double Dry Hopped Double Mosaic Dream is our standard Double Mosaic dry hopped a second time with a mosaic lupulin powder. Lupulin powder is a new hop product that is similar to our standard hops but with all the extra plant filler stripped away. It’s pure hops and it’s awesome." $20/4-pack.

-'The Daydreamiest' Imperial Oat Cream IPA (10.5% ABV) "The Imperial mash up of our 3 favorite Daydream hops, Mosaic, Citra and Galaxy." $22/4-pack.

-'Space Hallucinations' Imperial Oat Cream IPA (10.5% ABV) "Space Hallucinations is an Imperial Oat Cream IPA. It is the continuation of our Space Dream/Space Daydream series, getting our dream/daydream treatment with a heavy dose of oats and a hint of lactose before being hopped with a hallucinogenic amount of Galaxy. Dry hopped 3 times!" $22/4-pack.

-'DDH Small Citra Everything' IPA (6.5% ABV) "IPA brewed with wheat and oats. Hopped exclusively with Citra." $18/4-pack.

-'Double Sunset Worka' Imperial Stout (13.0% ABV) "Brewed with Mudhouse Coffee Roasters coffee, this has a full creamy character and is conditioned on vanilla and Worka coffee that is rich in fruity blueberry notes." $16/500ml bottle.

-'Double Sunset YirgZ' Imperial Stout (13.0% ABV) "Brewed with Mudhouse Coffee Roasters coffee, this stout is creamy and full bodied with vanilla and notes of chocolate, peach and nectarine from this beautiful coffee." $16/500ml bottle.

😳😳Plus one potential surprise arrival 😳😳

Why is it that Other Half charges $16 for a pint of non-barrel aged pastry stout whereas Aslin only charges $8 (back when they were still putting stouts in a can?)

grateful

Picked up Other Half's "Small Citra Everything" at the Maryland Other Half Depot this weekend. That's the way an IPA should taste.

Light, flavorful, and in the mid 6% range. Would drink all day.

The Maryland Other Half Depot received a large Equilibrium can drop yesterday...

Maybe my favorite hops/haze brewery.

I'm not a big fan of the value ratio of growler fills, but H Street Whole Foods currently has a Burley Oak JREAM beer on draft for growler fills. (Do they ship those cans to anywhere in the DMV?)  I'm not sure how much the cans go for at the brewery, but $20 for a 64 oz fill ($14 for 32) was enough to make me dust off a couple of growlers. I hope my wife likes blueberry.

Just making reference to the many beer loving neckbeards who must be making that store their second home...

Picked up some of the Equilibrium MC2.  It's excellent.

Question-How come the offerings these days are mostly 16 ounce cans?  I much prefer twelve ouncers.
