Boy, I missed a KILLER opportunity when I got hitched...and I don't just mean having an officiant dressed to give me wood:

I'm a little surprised Ackbar didn't warn slightly-hotter-prisoner-leia that her marriage to the frumpy irish setter in a bridal gown was a trap.

Man how awesome would it be if Ackbar whipped off his mask and was all

you realize that leia is the officiant, and that ackbar is marrying that frumpy irish setter?

I just downloaded the trailer this morning.  I think if this came out when I was a kid (meaning under 30), I would've gone bonkers for it.  Now I feel I'm a little too old...and my son is way too young to justify me getting it "for him."

Funny, the Kinect was the selling point for my wife for us to get an Xbox, and it's the thing I use the least.

Kinect Star Wars Hands On.

Now I feel I'm a little too old...

Can we change the name of this thread to 'for vansmack'?

nkotb has clearly gone over to the Dark Side....

Maybe "too old" isn't the right word; it's probably "too realistic" in that I know I wouldn't play it much.  I'm a pretty fickle gamer...games need to be super involved AND nerdy to catch me and hold me for an extended period of time (see Batman: Arkham Asylum...which is old but absolutely amazing).

That said...I'm still a sucker, and will get this as a gift at some point.  Just like my boycott on buying Star Wars on Blu Ray or seeing it in 3-D will go right out the window as soon as they come out.

I also added this gem to my collection of unnecessary t-shirts:

but wouldn't be more appropriate for an inter-league game against the yankees? ;D

I was there.  It was geeky fun.  Wore the shirt I posted below...

It was kinda funny because there were a lot of Star Wars people who knew very little about baseball, then a lot of baseball people who all of a sudden realized they knew very little about Star Wars (all things considered of course...).  I would definitely go again as the Giants big screen is amazing and so was the sound.
