Seeing as Cee-Lo Green, Deadmau5 and The Black Keys represent the  "hottest industry entertainment",  I guess those people in the VIP rooms will have to be content with whatever talent was strong armed in exclusive LiveNation tours

I actually like the lineup a whole lot more than last year's - I'd go for the Black Keys alone.

Too bad about the facebook requirement - not that an account is difficult to get, but it eliminates those of us who work for a living, will be at work on Friday, and whose employer blocks access to social media sites like facebook.  Guess I'm s.o.l.

July 15 is when tickets will be available.  Get ready for a lot of moaning and wahing from people being shut out  ;D

I'm pretty sure it's the 15th and then people from last year will be able to get in on pre sale on Thursday.  I think  ;D

I wonder how late Cee Lo will come out.  I think every festival this year he has been terribly late coming on  ;D

these acts would never play the Filmore... The Black Keys for example played DAR... They would not play a 1200 capacity club at this point in their career.

I can't stand Live Nation but to spin this as some Seth coup over the still as yet to open Filmore is reaching...

I'm very happy with the lineup. It's a FREE festival that has Black Keys, TVOTR, Patti Smith, Alberta Cross, Ghostland Observatory, and Grace Potter? I'd pay to go see any of them.

Yup.  My thoughts, exactly.

It's a good line-up.  Have never seen Black Keys, TVOTR  or Patti Smith.

The detractors, naysayers and negative comments just kill me. IT'S FREE!!! If you're not interested, then don't go and don't complain. Do any of you bashers have any idea what it takes to put on a concert of this magnitude, with the caliber of artist that the festival attracts... and make it free? Here's a hint, no one else does it. It's an impossible task to please everyone and for those not interested in attending it sure would be nice to live by the old saying "If you don't have anything nice to say, don't say anything at all." Of course that's just wishful thinking.

we now ask everyone to take off their hats and observe a moment of silence for the victims of 9/11, for the AIDS-orphaned children of the world, and for the thousands of hipsters who did not get a FreeFest lineup that mimicked their person playlists.  we carry on on their memories.

<the silence is eventually broken by someone playing "Taps" on the glockenspiel>

I think I read somewhere it's 2200-2700. I could be wrong though, it was awhile ago.

They have a Twitter account, apparently. It started following me o.0
