Welcome to the new forum
I mean, dude could just change the title annually right? There's an edit function for the thread author I'm sure.

I would rather see Satellite Party at this point. Fishbone. were good 30 years ago. J roddy and clutch suck balls. Never heard of Lucero assume it is a rap act that sucks.

I figured they'd be bigger by now.I saw them at the club when their first album came out and don't think I've listened to them since... Have they put anything out worth hearing? There are so many bands from that time period of say 03 to 07 that kind of just disappeared. I'm actually surprised Arcade Fire came out alive after a few stinker albums they put out. Remember Tapes N Tapes?

But probably preferable to today's "glindie" bands (spawn of "Glee"; Passion Pit, Fun., etc.)
I actually liked Neon Bible and didn't much care for Funeral. Downhill since then IMO, though. They also come off as massive douchebags.

Not everyone can/wants to put out Ten/Funeral every album.I'd consider Neon Bible a stinker... and while Funeral may have been perfect in 04', over time I feel it has lost its luster. So... putting out one stinker, plus Funeral maybe not being as awesome as it once was in a course of six to seven years is an easy recipe for a band to disappear. Obviously, that didn't happen...Edit: And what az just said.... Being the greatest live band in the world helps a band stay around.

And saying that the Arcade Fire is the greatest live band in the world suggests you don't go to many concerts.

But why do you think they keep playing bigger and bigger venues? It is because they are incredible live.
Since when is the size of venue a band plays proof that they are a great live band?I thought the size of the venue was more synonymous with how many tools buy into the hype. (?)
