I don't care about them. For some reason, I always considered them some kind of mainstream band like Foo Fighters, Weezer, or Pearl Jam (in their respective genre), but maybe I am wrong.

I don't think they are anywhere as good a Weezer.  I find them boring and just straight ahead boring old school rock n roll.
