did not hear that.....not sure what i would have done had i known about it.  dc9 would have been awfully tempting.

was pretty happy to be done by 10:20 tho.

The Killers were highly enjoyable at The National last night. Loved the set. The new songs translated well live. They're much better suited for an arena than a club, but I loved being 10 rows from the band.

I have no problem what-so-ever paying a musician for their work.  Sadly, too many people think it is OK to steal music these days as they try to cover it up as something else by using terms like sharing.

A Place to Bury Strangers were great at Rock and Roll Hotel.  Even with my earplugs in, being up front was almost too much.   Plenty of people around me didnt have any.

Between the potheads polluting it with dope smell and the blockheads punching it with their manly fists, the air really took a beating at the My Morning Jacket show tonight.

And someone needs to tell the lead singer of Band of Horses that bringing his two under-3 daughters onstage (for the third or fourth time of the night) at 10:45pm is kind of douchey. They should be home sleeping.
