A side note, not really sure what the point of the VIP bar was/is? On a night like last night that was PERFECT weather, might as well just grab a beer and sit on the lawn a bit if you're not catching the show.

A VIP bar is in theory a great idea. The problem with Seth's execution is entirely too many people are allowed in. Real VIPs don't want to drink near normies.

The VIP area was great for the bathrooms for us girls though. I didn't go up to the deck.

I love the new album.  It's really fantastic.  Happy to hear a bunch of it last night.

ha ha..I'm a superVIP baby (under 500 FWB number)!!!!!!!!!!!

I did and I didn't care enough to check in at the tent or whatever..... I checked it out a previous show and I thought it was lame... when people tell you the best thing about it is that its got easy access to restrooms with short lines I think that tells you something...

maybe with the 20 millinon $ renovations - not one cent on Seths dime- they will make a better VIP experience or something  but I think Julian is on to something...if they let every Tom Dick and Harry in then it ain't going to amount to much is it?

Yes, thank you Hutch. No real VIP is going to countenance some sweaty messageboard rabble stinking up the section with their proleness.

I thought GGW and myself gave some excellent suggestions in another thread discussing potential upgrades to the VIP experience.

First QOTSA show I've been to where I didn't snag the poster. Sigh.

I intended to get a poster and decided against it.  Didn't care for it.

Was great to see everybody in the VIP area.  Well, I suppose I saw ya anyway. John Theodore seemed  very approachable which was cool.

My wife said the VIP restrooms were great.  Guys'......not so much.  Standard fare.  Was nice to have one close by, tho.

Thought the VIP area was really nice.  Would hang there again if I get the opportunity.

Bands were great.  Shame QOTSA was late.

Last night of the tour, overall better performance...sound was fantastic, cool venue too. They just seemed a lot more animated. Josh was having a great time.
