The Melvins were in top form.  A +.  It definitely blew away the only other time I saw them, in 2013 at the Ottobar.  Napalm Death were heavy as hell, and their frontman was extremely charismatic.  It was great chatting with showlistdc and Unsanity; and briefly meeting StonetheCrow.

I'll agree on the Melvins. Last time I saw them was their 30th anniversary tour also at 9:30 but this show really blew that one out of the water. I can't say for sure this was my favorite time seeing them but man oh man it was a great set. Dale Crover's drums sounded absolutely massive. Melt-Banana and Napalm Death were also pretty damn great as usual.

It was certainly good chatting with you as well Killsaly and Showlist. This concert really brought out a great cross section of people. I knew so many other attendees! It warms my heart that these three bands can bring a community together.

Thanks again to Killsaly for the hooK up. I figured playing with Napalm Death meant the Melvins would have to bring their A game. They did not disappoint.

First time seeing ND and they were simply great. A very diverse crowd but I guess that's expected from a band that's ~30 years old at this point.

I ended up going to Ace, I thoroughly enjoyed myself.  And it wasn't just the beer.  Probably shouldn't have been so close to the marshall stacks, took a few days for my ears to recover.

I have heard the show was terrible. He even cancelled the next date of the tour because he or someone in his crew got real messed up in D.C.
