Can one acquire Birchmere's legendary food when the show is in the flex stage part of the venue?

Went and picked up brisket and a few sides at http://www.2fiftybbq.com last night. They set up at a Farmer's Market near College Park every Thursday and Sunday.

I am no BBQ expert and DC clearly lacks anything to write home about, but holy shit this was delicious. It's been raved about by the WaPo and a few other spots, so I'd recommend getting here before it starts selling out daily! YSOA.

Fat Pete's BBQ in Cleveland park and close to the White House makes a mean brisket worth writing home about

Trial and error of eating a lot of shitty DC BBQ and then finding a diamond in the rough.

You move to  North Carolina, you live there for a few years . . . and you laugh at anybody who lives in DC or NOVA or the Maryland suburbs, claiming to be an expert.

Walkie, question: would Kansas City also be an acceptable place to move? If so, does it matter which side of the border?

Can confirm, their ribs are excellent as well.  Grab a pineapple jalapeno margarita to go while you're at it.

Anybody know where one can purchase a sliced pork bbq samich these days?   Used to get em at a place called Kenny's in Alexandria and Mount Pleasant.  They're long gone and I haven't found a replacement since.
