I think that preposterous Vox article about the lady living Victorian is ripe for a Julian's America parody... Sorry to lazy to find the link again

The level of pretentiousness in the article is at Onion heights... Carrying on about only using Victorian era objects, but publishing books and maintaining a website negates everything

never one to let a fight slip by, Slate slams Vox:

Vox?s Victorians
Does playing dress-up really give you a sense of what the past was like? Of corset doesn?t.

Kosmette posted the article on FB along with her disdain and when I saw it all the recommended stories were the ones scoffing at it.. and the Julian tie in of course is his families past as shipping magnets

There?s a Giant Corn Maze in Maryland Shaped Like Taylor Swift?s Face
If, uh, you guys want to kickstart this, I'll totally do this in a suit the afternoon of the Michigan at Maryland football game. You know, for the good of the board. Or something.

I was more struck by the fact -- and I'm loathe to question other's art as I have no ability myself -- that it really doesn't look like Taylor at all.

I just woke up from a dead sleep, bizarrely aware that I needed to check the board. I was not disappointed.
