Forecast says rain at 10pm. Too bad they can't bump up game time.

its hard to beat the Kansas City Bombers...

7 HRs in 5 postseason games; 95 in 162 regular season games.  They had seven homers in their final 23 regular-season games.

The Royals have scored eight runs three times this postseason. They did so twice after the All-Star break.

The Royals have homered in four straight games this postseason, a franchise record. They did not homer in consecutive games over the final 25 games of the regular season.

The Royals had one extra-inning HR in the regular season. They already have three extra-inning homers in the postseason.

Strange.

The stars do seem to be aligned in their favor.

not looking good for the o's (using bullshit statistics) but i hope they turn it around.  going to be tough.

sidenote, i'm seeing all these oriole haters come out of the woodwork lately...i suspect most of them are yankee fans...i find it really odd, i just don't see how you could hate the orioles

the only "likable" team left for casual MLB fans to root for his KC.  and sometimes it's just easirer to pick a team to "hate", instead.

but i can't stand the o's, and my dislike stems from being a red sox fan.  you're not going to get much love from AL east fans.

Baltimore is entirely likable except folks of your ilk who imagine some hatred for a team you whooped soundly for the better part of two decades.

Whoever comes out of the AL is imminently more likable than whoever comes out of the NL.

I also do not understand how the likable team in this matchup is only KC. How do you not totally love this team, who plays like a true TEAM, has the best stadium in baseball, and really awesome fans.

KC players talking trash and the Orioles respond with class.

I hope they sweep the next 4 games.  F statistics.

Tell me about it.  They're not at all what any team prepared for.  Decent starting pitching, sure, but not great.  A great bullpen though - no question.  Speed on the bases - sure.  Even a good defensive team, but I didn't think they'd be this good defensively.

But this power surge?  Completely ruined the thinking of the later innings - get to the 7th and extra innings and you have a pretty good chance of hitting one out before they do and winning the game.  Or so the thought was before, you know, they games were actually played!

I agree with everything here, and still don't like your team because of your owner, who I couldn't help but notice you left off this list.

I don't hate them, I just don't have to like them.

Well, the last few years, this owner who everyone seems to hate, has let the management do their jobs.
