I've never seen a series that was so even yet it wasn't.  KC made every play to be made.  And the Orioles' bats were non-existent.

Been an O's fan since I was born! I am definitely an out of control (now sports brokenhearted) fan. But, will be wearing orange and black as I run 26.2 around Baltimore on Saturday! And will be nice to say thanks to the Showalters during the Kids Peace 5K November 1st.

Sad it didn't go the Orioles way, but baseball can be cruel.

Obviously you Tender an offer to Cruz and watch that play out. 

Try like hell to sign Andrew Miller, but don't hold your breath.

I would not pick up Markakis' option for $17.5m and deal with the wrath of the fans, but who knows - maybe he'll take a longer deal for less?

I would also shop Davis and Weiters, but Davis' suspension and Weiters injury are going to make that hard.  Davis might be able to be signed long term (yet, should they?), but Weiters will test free agency for sure.  Better to try and get something for him before that.

I don't think Weiters is going to be an Oriole next year.

Would love if they could keep Miller and Cruz.

Markakis is the heart of the team and played well in the playoffs....I don't know much about contracts.. maybe he would take a new long term contract at a lesser rate than 17.5 million for the option year but they got to keep him

Markakis' option won't be picked up, but they'll agree on a lesser contract.  I  figure both Cruz and Miller are gone.  And I think Wieters gets dealt sometime next year - trade deadline maybe.  Not sure what happens to Davis.
