Too bad - you almost had 4:20 on that post.  You're losing your fastball.

If I'm only losing a second on my fastball at my age,  then I'm going to be a LOOGY for much longer than  I anticipated.

Now get Fowler.

3 years, $35m.

Not sure if it was Gallardo's mills.

What if you were a LOOGY with a scroogie?

I'd be a retired millionaire helping some rookie with his cliches and keeping fungus off his shower shoes at Spring Training this month instead of a Chief of Staff 13 years from retirement.

I'm guessing yes. Doesn't seem like he's passing his physical.

Hearing the Gallardo deal maybe unraveling due to results of his physical.

O's looking to restructure contract.

And there is agreement.  And there was much rejoicing.

Just got a message that Cubs swooped in on Fowler.  Can't confirm.

Sucks, but better not to give up a draft pick for one year.

Still...sucks though.

Duquette said from the beginning that the club would not offer any opt outs.  So this late in the game the guy bolts because he can't get an opt out?

No, he bolted because he did get an opt out elsewhere.  If he didn't get one he surely takes the guaranteed money from the O's...

There's clearly been a titanic shift in control with this opt out nonsense.  This continues until one player gets hurt.
