Personally I find it so much more fun to go to a ballgame when attendance is poor....then again I find most people are bozos....everything is so much easier when attendance is weak

I feel this way more about general admission concerts than sporting events. At a sporting event, as long as there are assigned seats, there's no worry about people encroaching on my personal space. And with a larger crowd, there's more enthusiasm and overall energy.

Some people want that crowd enthusiasm in a concert experience but for me a concert feels more like a personal transaction between me and the band (even though it's not.) when compared to a sporting event. Plus, at a crowded general admission concert even innocuous people are transformed into bozos.

Could not agree more. I get a tad bummed when shows I am attending sell out.

If I had to bet on Rosenthal vs Davis, I would have lost.

'Improves' his ERA to 72.0.

Doesn't get talked about as much, but Davis has now tied the 57 plate appearances without a hit mark. I'm going to have to fire up the old MLB.tv at lunch if he gets the start today.

0-3 with a walk. Up to 53 at-bats and 61 plate appearances. God, the schadenfreude is so sweet.

Looks like the O's drafted Matt Wieters 2.0.

Didn't have a choice here.

Much like the Nats and Stephen Strasburg in 2009. Trout was the 25rh pick that year. The Nats picked twice before then, the Orioles picked some guy names Hobsgood or something like that?

The Halos grabbed a SS when they needed pitching.  But I won't question the new GM.

Starter Andrew Cashner is headed to the Red Sox in exchange for outfielder Elio Prado and infielder Noelberth Romero. Prado and Romero are both 17 and natives of Venezuela.

Prado will be assigned to the Rookie-level Dominican Summer League Orioles 1 and Romero to the DSL Orioles 2.

Will miss Cash.  Seemed like a good dude. Sell, sell, sell.

Sell, sell, sell.

This only works if you have a plan, and I'm not sure the O's have a plan.

I did not make it past the ninth inning last night, but this would have been fun to watch.

Watching the highlights this morning I saw that Stevie's 'fastball' was clocked at 53mph.

Hasn't gotten talked about much but Tigers have actually fallen several games below the O's. With 61 games to play, if they match their performance in their 61 most recent games, they'd tie the worst record in 162-game-season baseball history. Yeech.
