These are my favorite kind of announcements:

#Athletics acquire LHP Felix Doubront from Toronto for cash considerations

What's Billy up to?

Wheeler/Matz apparently not part of Cespedes trade.  :-\ Supposedly 2 unnamed RHPs coming back.

EDIT: Michael Fulmer and Luis Cessa. Not sure how I feel about that.

Oh wow.  Wheeler would have been a good pickup.  I think every one knows the Tigers can't make qualifying offer so time to deal is now.

I really thought they'd get Wheeler or Matz for Yoenis. Kind of underwhelmed with the return but yes, with the weird qualifying offer prohibition in his contract, had to move him.

Dave Dombrowski out in Detroit. Did not see that coming mid-season. Knew he might leave in off-season but fired is kind of out of left field!

EDIT: Avila's dad is taking over which ensures we'll resign that bum. He also says the team is poised to win this year. Welp.

The hot rumor is that Dombrowski already has the Toronto job and Det found out and let him start now,  rather than  wait for him to bolt when his contract was up.

For the first time in MLB history, all 15 home teams won last night.

Entering Tuesday, the most wins on a day where home teams won every game in @MLB was 12 on May 23, 1914. (via @EliasSports)

Even through expansion, not every home team has won on a single day where 12 or more games were played since 1914....
