I can't be the only one who gets a notification about "the best bat flip of the season" and gets excited, because in about 45 minutes I'm getting a notification about the benches clearing brawl, right?

I can also stop watching every Joey Votto at-bat as he FINALLY popped out to 1B after 6,828 at bats (first time in his career).

All morning I was excited to watch Eshelman's MLB debut.

Then Jules texts me about the death of Tyler Skaggs while I was pushing my kiddo on the swings at the park. The moms did not appreciate the "Fuck!" I let out.  My phone blew up after that and I think maybe the moms got it as we packed up an headed home....

I feel like this is Nick Adenhart all over again....

Cool no hitter! One of those special moments that baseball seems to be able to provide regularly.

Well done halos

I'm glad that Mike Mussina finally made it to the Hall of Fame.  He was my favorite Oriole for a long time.

I didn't even begrudge him a move to the Yankees.  Heck, I wouldn't even have minded so much if the Yankees had won in 2001 just for him (though the choke job was way better).

Madden to the Angels is a done deal, just a few details to work out.

Also, Gerrit Cole said LAA is his first choice and maybe Stras if he opts out.

Angels had better put pen to paper really quick before Dave Roberts is fired and Maddon is tempted by the Dodgers.

According to ESPN , long-time Major League baseball umpire Rob Drake tweeted on Tuesday that he planned to buy an AR-15 "because if you impeach MY PRESIDENT this way, YOU WILL HAVE ANOTHER CIVAL WAR!!! #MAGA2020"."
