Welcome to the new forum
I ride downhill to the bar to watch early morning football matches. Then I walk it back home or to the start of Golden Gate Park to ride to the bar at the end of the park. If I make it to the bar at the end of GG Park, I usually have to cab it home.
Hell of a workout regimen you've got there, Smacks.

Family, biking, beer and music are my four greatest pleasures in life
why don't you just Uber it then?
Just like being seen on your fixie with your right pant leg rolled up?
Is this the bike thread now? If so, this is my new ride....
What are your hobbies, Sidehatch?
Did this trip a couple years back. It was totally sublime. Climbing 6,000 feet in a day and getting swallowed by mud and forced to find a detour didn't feel so great at the time, but I would do the trip again in a heartbeat:http://www.outsideonline.com/2004951/new-hut-trip-durango-moab-mountain-bikes
Smackie doesn't uber - doesn't believe in their liability model.
I also bike commute to work and MTB during the winter - closing in on 3,300 miles so far this year
