Since this isn’t a live event will post here...

Tim Burgess is hosting Twitter listening parties, where the bands involved tweet as the album is playing. The needle drops at 10pm UK time, which I believe is 7pm EST until they switch to DST.

So Far they have done Some Friendly and Franz Ferdinand’s debut.  Tonight is Parklife...

The details

New website for Tim Burgess’s Twitter listening parties... Feeling really seen as many of these people I already follow on Twitter.  This week includes Prefab Sprout, Cocteau Twins, etc. Coming soon SFA, New Order. In the works Belle & Sebastian, Lloyd Cole, Style Council

These Twitter listening parties are super fun, the Prefab Sprout Two Wheels Good was particularly awesome.  Looks my request for a Posies Frosting On A Beater may come to fruition.  My Twitter mentions lit up overnigh.

What’s the first sentence of the best novel that will be written about this epidemic?

W. Earl Brown@WEarlBrown
“It was the Be Best of times and the worst of times.”

This vid of empty NYC is especially creepy as the opening to the dystopian flim made about it
