My Pillow's Mike Lindell barred from entering Canada to support convoy protestors
Lindell, as well as a truck full of 10,000 pillows destined for protesters, were denied entry into Canada Tuesday evening

According to the senior government source, Lindell was turned back because he was not fully vaccinated and did not have a negative PCR test in hand.

The source said that truck was also denied entry into Canada because the U.S. trucker did not have a valid pre-arrival PCR test.

US and Canada both out in hockey in the quarters after choking away games like dogs. Woof.

However, the US and Canadian women’s teams have been walking all over their opponents… And in that one case an entire game wearing masks!!

Only Finland belongs on the same ice with either of those squads. A sport that requires a lot more growing.

A sport that requires a lot more growing.

to be more specific, it needs more growing in countries other than the US and canada.  at one point the canadian women had outscored their opponent something like 28 to 3... ridiculous.  "Canada and the United States have dominated the competition, combining to win all six gold medals along with five silvers." so in 6 olympics, only one other team has ever made it to the finals.  once.  that lack of competitiveness isn't good for a sport.

i remember watching women's hockey the first year it was first added to the olympics (1998) and no one was impressive, with most teams being downright terrible.  the quality of play has come a long way but clearly not in a even fashion.

I thought this was pretty clearly what I was saying.

It takes time

Was the same with women’s soccer and now there are lots of great teams with clear identities that reflect their nation.. a couple of world cups ago I was so impressed with France and Japan

the Zelensky Ave movement is growing... personally i think they should rename it Slava Ukraini Ave (Glory to Ukraine Ave.)

Canadian MPs vote to urge Ottawa to rename street, home to Russian Embassy, after Ukrainian president Zelensky
Members of Parliament in the House of Commons unanimously voted for a motion urging the city of Ottawa to rename part of a street home to the Russian embassy after Ukrainian president Volodymyr Zelensky.

the "C" in the middle of that diagram is the logo for the Conservative Party of Canada.

background: there are two "top-tier" parties in canada, the liberals and the conservatives.  their names are descriptive: the liberals lean left, the conservatives lean right (sometimes far-right...).  on the second tier are parties that will never win the majority but occasionally can be part of a coalition government: the New Democratic Party (far-left/socialist), and the Bloc Quebecois (left-leaning, separatist).

Wow per wikipedia this map has been around since 2004

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jesusland_map

and there are versions that hand over Alberta to Jesusland... and since it was created some of newer swing states like VA and AZ would get added

yeah, the great one is going soft in his old age.  he was also recently pictured partying with Kid Rock.  maybe all those years living in Edmonton, Alberta - AKA Canada's most conservative province - has affected him.
