We need a Marshall Plan for Baltimore ASAP but the federal government couldn’t care less

Would democrats care more if they controlled the White House?

I doubt it

I hate to admit it but I buy all my clothes at thrift stores these days

I don’t have a 9-5 job so why not? Nobody fuckin cares what I wear

People in this area are/were so rich you should see the shit I get for $3...people buy stuff for $49 , wear it once and donate it..unreal the $ money people have

realize I am now never getting into JA but that’s the way the cookie crumbles ..to be honest I think it was always a long shot

Can confirm. You're not going to find funky stuff in NoVA (who wants it anyway at my age), but lots of great casual and business casual clothing finds at NoVA thrift stores. Only new clothing i buy are socks, underwear, running shoes, hiking boots, band and brewery t-shirts. The rest is from Goodwill.

Best thrift store find this year was a Giant hybrid bike for my kid. I think i got it on a half price sale at Goodwill for $30. Could have gotten it for $15 if i had remembered that I'm a member.

I thought the same thing and then realized I haven't stepped foot in the door there since at least 2010.

Bummer. One less reason for me to convince her that seeing her parents once every couple of years is the right thing to do.

I know it's probably below your craft beer standards (like Heady Topper is), but I wish they'd ship fresh Zombie Dust this way.
