Richmond will have zero monuments by the end of summer, mark my words.

fear not, you shall have public art for your eyes to feast upon:

Petition to Replace Robert E. Lee Statue With GWAR’s Oderus Urungus

Although really, wouldn’t an Oderus statue be better if it had me in a suit trying to interview him?

If we can't get Oderus, I'd like to see General Larry Platt:

"General" Larry Platt (born August 27, 1947) is an American civil and political rights activist and rapper who gained fame with his performance of "Pants on the Ground" on the ninth season of American Idol. His hit song "Pants on the Ground" was released on iTunes and received over 150,000 hits.

wait, they fired the period or did it go belly up?
Maybe this has to do with the text culture and the period is like the penny and not really needed anymore?

As much as Churchill did for Britain, he was quite racist against Indians. He's on quote saying that Indians are "...a beastly people with a beastly religion". Dude also had a hard on for eugenics. Sound familiar?

So Churchill is like Hitler?

Wow

At some point this becomes really stupid..

Why is the Jefferson Memorial still standing then?

How about Lincoln who thought black people should be sent out of the US?

There are few perfect men and monuments and memorials can honor a certain facet of the person..and almost all people are products of their times..this retrofitting our modern day wisdom on people from 500 years ago is wacko

Now monuments to confederate traitors...no, that I have never understood
