Rep. Ron Kind (D-Wisc.) will announce Tuesday that he will not seek reelection to represent Wisconsin's 3rd Congressional District after serving since 1997
on the one hand, he's had the seat for 24 years... i'm sure he's ready to do something else.
on the other hand, he won the seat in 2020 by a relatively slim margin: 51.3 vs. 48.6. if that same R runs again, you gotta think he'd be the fav to win based on name recognition alone. maybe the retiree will help the eventual D nominee and share some of his mojo...
