if you're referring to my last post, that wasn't a typo.  saying "gonzo" in place of "gone" is a thing (and a pretty old one at that).

"hey, did kyle leave?"
"yup, he's gonzo."

Overweight 73 year old former middling ballplayer Bob Boone will be leaving his Nationals position as vice president of player development because he refuses to take part in the team mandated vaccination of non-player employees.

They can be good or bad …. Doesn’t make them any less clueless or asshole-ish

Glad he will no longer be on payroll

Not officially....but with the suspension for the remainder of the season, it has to be coming, right?

update: REM will remain belly up, fired, and retired

Michael Stipe confirms R.E.M. will never reunite
"We decided when we split up that that would just be really tacky and probably money-grabbing," the singer said

They really needed to break up when Berry retired but they overstayed decades and I don’t think anyone is really pining for them….their music hasn’t aged particularly well…. But then again I never really got them

Yeah, I think that's you. I still listen to the first 6-7 REM records frequently and I think they hold up great. But if you never liked then to begin with, obviously you're not magically going to like them a decade later. But I don't think the music sounds quaint or corny or something years later like lots of other music does.

well...since we don't have a released thread yet....

A federal judge on Monday approved the unconditional release of John Hinckley Jr., who tried to assassinate former President Reagan in 1981.
