Maybe? https://variety.com/2023/music/news/sky-ferreira-capitol-records-parted-ways-1235783559/
I've seen this news going the rounds

only evidence is capitol records took her name off their artist webpage

really has to suck to be her, all the effort and well earned hype...sucked up in a 10 year battle to release and album that was already made

If "looking for someone being removed from a website" is good enough for wrestling rumors, its good enough for this!  Plus, I'm an optimist.

Manchin not running for reëlection. Now progressives can enjoy the Dems not controlling the Senate instead of facing the hellscape that is controlling the Senate but having a member who only votes with you 86% of the time.

True but if there was any chance he was wavering on running he should have supported Biden’s priorities like climate change bill…after all he had nothing to lose… I realize maybe he didn’t know but….my assumption was always that he was running hence he voted the way he did

Not exactly a profile in courage

alternate take: he votes his beliefs/conscience.  he's closer to the dems than gop, but not 100%... so he doesn't vote 100% with the dems.

if in his heart of hearts he doesn't think climate change is a priority, why would he suddenly support biden's climate action plan, retiring or not?

maybe he has future career aspirations back in WV that would be harmed by supporting biden?

Ha ha ha… I doubt he will ever go back to West Virginia. And he has only one belief: Manchin only cares about Manchin.

Manchin is purposefully fucking Biden (again!) and Julian is still wetting himself about progressives.

As always, the adults are talking and no one wants to hear from you. I’m sure there’s some Star Wars action figures you could be playing with.

Is there a credible dem that can win in W. VA?
Sounds like everyone is convinced we can't

two-time WVA gov is running

he WAS a dem and won the first time as a dem

In 2015, Justice declared his candidacy for governor of West Virginia in the 2016 election as a member of the Democratic Party. in May 2016, Justice won the Democratic nomination for governor and ran against Republican nominee Bill Cole in the general election.[27] On November 8, Justice won the election

wait...what
In January 2019, Justice declared his candidacy for reelection.[31] This time, he ran as a Republican, having changed his party registration after a 2017 rally with President Donald Trump. He defeated multiple challengers in the Republican primary.

The candidate was there the whole time
Zachary Shrewsbury

I found this amusing when listing other declared candidates.
Zane Lawhorn, optometrist and perennial candidate

Would have been even funnier if he was and optimist,
