How does one fact check such a thing, If couches become sentient then we are doomed
how does someone prove that I did not have sex with that couch, did they ask the couch?
is the couch a reliable witness?
ultimately, they did fact check that JD Vance didn't write about it in the book
the article was so wonky as they were like "we did a word search in the PDF of the book for the word couch"
what if he didn't call it couch but loveseat or sectional? Maybe he had a pet name for it
