i wonder if it has ever occurred to these artists that maybe the cost of tickets is keeping people away?  not everyone has $100+ to drop on a seat on a regular basis... when the price of a concert ticket rivals the cost of an airline ticket, the concert need to be dang sure of its pricing.

((i know, i know, with the collapse of album sales concerts are the only way artists can make money so they have to charge more, blah blah...)
