So why is media giving so much attention to these types if their numbers are so low?
Because people want to talk about it, probably.

because it's sensational.  either you're pro-protesters, in which case you think "yeay, finally!"; or you're anti-protester and you think "what a bunch of idiots".  either way, you can't look away so you watch the news story, or click the link, view the video - which is the point of media companies, innit?

WHO is reporting there is no evidence to believe once you’ve had COVID you are “immune” to it again. And if that turns out to be the case, bunker in, folks.

Carolyn Goodman, the mayor of Las Vegas is having a moment.  i believe she's the covidiot of the day.

she wants to reopen casinos and let the virus and market forces determine which ones should close once there is an outbreak: "Assume everybody is a carrier," the mayor told MSNBC's Katy Tur on Tuesday. "And then you start from an even slate. And tell the people what to do. And let the businesses open and competition will destroy that business if, in fact, they become evident that they have disease, they're closed down. It's that simple."

then, she had the most bonkers interview with Anderson Cooper:
story on Business Insider (lots of short clips)
story on CNN (only one video clip unfortunately, but it's a good one)

Bartiromo on 4.4 million unemployment claims this week: "This is not much more than the expectations, we were expecting 4.2 mil, but there were some estimates out there that were even more dreadful. So, there is one argument to be made that it's not as bad as some people thought"

I guess that is an argument with reality or sanity?

psychedelics might get me to finally understand their point of view, so, yeah, don't see what the problem is there.

13.9% of New Yorkers test positive for antibodies with a death rate of 0.5%.

That's five times as deadly as the flu, but still seems like good news.

Do the antibodies protect you? Is that confirmed?

Edit: that 0.5% does not factor in those who died at home...so higher than that but seemingly still  under 1% maybe?

I don't think anything regarding antibodies=immunity has been concluded.

The good news seems to be the morality rate seemingly being lower than once thought.
